In fact I won this wave (above) with ease. I lost in wave 27 then, after I had to struggle for a while (from wave 21) with a bug that transformed my pointer into a generator and I wasn't able to get my normal pointer back. My loss was due to this bug, that made it so hard to arrange my structures that I just decided to go mainly with what I had on the one hand and on the other hand to a major lack of space for more towers. The pic shows the last wave short before I lost. My inventory was full and my purse was too. But energy was the value that was really ridiculously high. The incremental rise of money and energy don't fit the linear rise of your needs at all. So the endless mode seems to need some balancing.
The normal mode (first 10 waves) seems to be better balanced, yet. Although I won the game with ease despite buying the wrong things early, needing 2 or 3 waves to understand that the floor plates need energy too and not having enough generators for all of my equipment in waves 8, 9 and 10. So it could be a bit harder for me, I guess. For a game jam game it is really cool, though. I like it a lot. ๐๐
I just finished my first run. My first impressions are this game is super fun!
I ended up losing because I bought a generator to power my weapons, but when I placed it, nothing appeared and the card just got deleted, so I was left with not enough power.
This is a wonderful concept for a game. I'm going to play another round!
EDIT: okay this game is a banger. Once I understood how the power stuff worked, this was awesome. I did end up dying because the normal blue enemy took damage that was colored black instead of red and reached the center. Not totally sure what that was. This is wonderful and I plan to come back to play later. It would be wonderful to see how you expand on this concept!
Thank you very much for playing and glad you've enjoyed it. The card disappearing is most likely a bug that i haven't found (sorry, that one is on me) and the black number you're mentioning is probably the venom text color overlapping with the regular number color? i'm not entirely sure tho (i didn't have much time to playtest so there are a couple of bugs here and there). Otherwise, thanks for playing ๐

I'm short on generators. Don't getting any in the last three rounds is mean. ๐ญ
I'll start this wave now. Wish me luck!
